Jim Graham is the President of Newtech Commercialization Ltd., a firm engaged in bringing new technologies from the concept and idea stage to successful products on the market.

Dr. Graham is an Associate Professor Emeritus with the Faculty of Management at the University of Calgary.

While at the University of Calgary, Dr. Graham held several administrative positions, including Director of the Centre for the New Venture Development where he oversaw the Student Clinic, part of an award winning Enterprise Development Masters of Business Administration Program. Students in the Clinic Programs worked directly with growing companies and as a result were able to ground their new theoretical knowledge in particle applications.

Dr. Graham has served on the Board of Directors of public, private, and not-for-profit organizations.

Dr. Graham acted as a consult and trainer in strategy and marketing to a wide variety of organizations in both the private and public sectors. He was one of the founders and lead instructors in the Owner Manager Transition Program run by the Centre for Venture Development, which helped over 300 owners of small business make the change from business owner/operator to business manager.
