For additional support visit our visitor services page.

"Infrared: Beyond the Visible," is a fast, fun look at electromagnetic energy for a better understanding of radiant theory. Though the following is for the study of astronomy it will be useful to all that wish to know more about  infrared light and its influence on our thermal comfort. Infrared light is part of the electromagnetic and can be seen using thermography. Thermography is a very useful way to visually understand the Mean Radiant Temperature (MRT) in a space. We suggest you watch from minute 1 through to minute 3 unless you have time to watch the whole animation. Your kids will find it useful as well.
