Native arsenic
This rare form of arsenic (As) has here formed curved
and layered accretions with a dull blue black lustre and
a bulbous shape on the surface. Arsenic is used mainly
in insecticides and in semiconductors. This sample is
from a historically famous location, the St Andreasberg
mine in lower Saxony, Germany.
